OPERA-MATIC and ACCESSIBILITY:

Opera-Matic's main events take place outdoors, in partnership with the Chicago Park District. For more information about accessibility in Chicago parks, please visit their website. Opera-Matic's community workshops take place within park buildings, art centers, schools, and youth centers. Opera-Matic is dedicated to providing their community with engaging events and workshops that are inclusive to all. 

The following services are available for persons with disabilities:

  • Large print programs and lyric sheets
  • Wheelchair accessible entrances
  • Wheelchair accessible restroom facilities
  • Narrators and guides for visually impaired participants
  • Services available with 72-hours notice:
    • Braille programs and lyric sheets
    • Wheelchair loans
    • ASL interpreters
    • Assisted Listening Devices
