Bringing Moving Music & Visual Art to the Streets

New Moon On The Lagoon

MAY 2013

AN EVENING LULLABY PARADE WITH MOON AND WHALE WATCHING

Opera-Matic artists asked our neighbors and families to help create a community gesture. We learned lullabies from elders, teens, children, and music teachers, taught flashlight choreography and planned a lullaby parade. We created animated fellow travelers for lullaby paraders to sing to and signal to. Together we walked and sang and experienced Chicago's beautiful Humboldt Park in an enchanted light.
